Three Things People Get Wrong
The most-repeated GTA VI claims that don't survive a check against Rockstar's own material.

Reality - Rockstar has now shown 26 minutes of its own in-game footage. Use that.
- The August 27 Extended Look was captured in-game on PS5, per Rockstar.
- It shows character switching, cover combat, disguises and full missions.
- Property ownership and a character creator still have no official mention.

- Ultimate Edition - $99.99, digital only.

Rockstar NewswireFrequently Asked
When does GTA 6 come out?
November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar confirmed the date in November 2025, Take-Two restated it in August 2026, and the launch trailer followed on October 15.
When can I pre-load it?
From November 12 if you pre-ordered digitally. The boxed Standard Edition contains a download code rather than the game on disc, goes on sale November 12, and needs the same download.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not announced. GamesBeat reported an early-2027 window in October citing anonymous sources, but Rockstar has published no date, storefront or system requirements. Any PC specs you see quoted are fabricated.
Does GTA 6 have online multiplayer?
Not at launch, as far as anything official says - Rockstar describes the game as "a single player experience". Bloomberg reported in October that an online component is expected in 2027; Rockstar has not confirmed that.
Which edition should I buy?
The $79.99 Standard Edition is the full game. The $99.99 Ultimate Edition is digital only and adds vehicles, weapons, outfits, and five businesses that only open with it. Both include the Vintage Vice City Pack if bought before November 20.
How big is the map?
Rockstar has not given a figure. Aaron Garbut of Rockstar North told Game Informer that Leonida is bigger than GTA V's map "by some degree", spread across six named regions. Any precise multiplier is a community estimate.
