GTA 6 Vehicles: Every One Rockstar Has Actually Named
The seven vehicles named on Rockstar's GTA VI site, the Declasse Tulip from Trailer 2, the vehicle types shown in the August 27 Extended Look - and why there is still no official count and no stats.
Updated October 20, 2026: Rewritten into a single current list. The earlier version said only four vehicles had been identified and then contradicted itself further down; Rockstar's GTA VI site names seven, the Tulip is identified in Trailer 2, and the Extended Look showed jet skis, airboats, dirt bikes and kayaks in use.

Vehicle lists are where GTA VI coverage goes furthest off the rails. Sites routinely publish two-hundred-entry tables sourced from the 2022 leak and present them as confirmed. What Rockstar has actually put its name to is much shorter: seven vehicles named on its GTA VI site, one more clearly identified in Trailer 2, a couple more identifiable by badge in official footage, and a handful of vehicle types shown in use in the August 27 Extended Look. There is still no official vehicle count and no published performance data for anything.
Named by Rockstar
Every vehicle below is named in Rockstar's own prose on rockstargames.com/VI, as part of the Ultimate Edition or the Vintage Vice City Pack. That makes them the firmest vehicle facts available.
| Vehicle | Type | Where Rockstar names it |
|---|---|---|
| '95 Grotti Cheetah | Sports car | Ultimate Edition |
| Ganado Retro Build (Vapid Ganado) | Pickup | Ultimate Edition; a Vapid Ganado is also described outside Jason's safehouse |
| Shitzu Squalo | Speedboat | Ultimate Edition |
| '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy | Off-road buggy | Ultimate Edition, with the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay |
| Dinka Enduro | Dual-sport motorcycle | Ultimate Edition - Jason's Safehouse Vehicles |
| Crest Kayak | Kayak | Ultimate Edition - Jason's Safehouse Vehicles |
| '55 Vapid Stanier | Sedan | Vintage Vice City Pack, with the Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach |
The Vintage Vice City Pack goes to every pre-order and every purchase made before November 20, on either edition. The other six are Ultimate Edition content, which Rockstar says is "threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter" - so owning the edition does not necessarily mean having every vehicle from the first hour.
Identified in trailer footage
| Vehicle | Type | Where it appeared |
|---|---|---|
| Declasse Tulip | Muscle car | The most featured vehicle in Trailer 2 - an orange model driven by both protagonists |
| Jobuilt Phantom | Semi truck | Seen hauling a Patriot Beer container |
| A two-door Canis off-roader | Off-road utility | Badge visible in official screenshots; model never named |
The Declasse Tulip is effectively the game's hero car. Rockstar has not named it in prose, but it is identifiable in Trailer 2 and appears across official screenshots more than any other car.
Vehicle types shown in the Extended Look
The August 27 Extended Look - 26 minutes 48 seconds that Rockstar says was captured entirely in-game on PlayStation 5 - showed vehicles being used rather than posed. TechRadar's and PC Gamer's breakdowns of the footage list jet skis, airboats (fanboats), dirt bikes and kayaks among the activities, along with track and street racing.
- Jet skis - shown in use; no model named.
- Airboats, or fanboats - previously only seen in Grassrivers screenshots, now shown in play.
- Dirt bikes - matching Rockstar's Port Gellhorn line, 'jump on a dirt bike and hold onto your wallet'.
- Kayaks - consistent with the Crest Kayak named on the GTA VI site.
The footage confirms these as vehicle types. It does not come with model names, a garage menu or any figures, and the coverage does not say which manufacturers the jet skis or dirt bikes belong to.

There is still no official count
Community trackers estimate over 200 vehicles based on trailers, screenshots, and leaked development footage combined, with some projecting 300 or more at launch. Rockstar has published no count. These estimates are useful as a rough scale indicator and useless as a specific fact - a vehicle appearing in a 2022 development build is not evidence it ships in November 2026.
| Claim | Basis | Treat as |
|---|---|---|
| Seven vehicles named | Rockstar's GTA VI site | Confirmed |
| Declasse Tulip | Trailer 2 footage | Confirmed by sight, not named in prose |
| Jet skis, airboats, dirt bikes, kayaks | Extended Look footage | Confirmed as types |
| 100+ unique models | Leak plus community reconstruction | Rough indicator |
| 200–300+ at launch | Projection from previous games | Speculation |
| Top speed / handling figures | Nothing | Fabricated |
Treat any complete GTA VI vehicle list with stats - top speed, handling, price - as fabricated. Rockstar has published no performance data for any vehicle, and no amount of footage produces a handling figure.
Manufacturers
The named vehicles confirm that the series' fictional-manufacturer system continues: Grotti, Vapid, Shitzu, Dinka and Declasse are long-running in-universe brands, Jobuilt and Canis appear in trailer footage and screenshots, and Crest makes the kayak. Pegassi appears as a building in the background of a Cheetah screenshot. A returning badge confirms the brand, not which of its models return.
Named by model year
Three vehicles carry an explicit model year, which is new for the series. Previous GTA games rarely dated their fleet in marketing.
- 1955 - the Vapid Stanier, a mid-century American full-size sedan.
- 1967 - the Vapid Dominator Buggy, a first-generation muscle car turned mud buggy.
- 1995 - the Grotti Cheetah, described as an ode to Shore Drive.
Four decades between the oldest and newest named vehicle suggests the fleet spans eras deliberately, which fits a setting built around a city with a long and specific history.
Why water vehicles matter more here
Leonida's geography forces the issue. With the Keys as an island chain and Grassrivers as wetland, two of six regions are only properly navigable by water. Of the seven vehicles Rockstar names, two - the Shitzu Squalo and the Crest Kayak - are watercraft, and the Extended Look added jet skis and airboats in use. That is a structural change from GTA V, where boats were largely an optional diversion.
- Leonida Keys - island-to-island travel makes boats a primary route, not a shortcut.
- Grassrivers - shallow wetland where airboats are the practical option.
- VC Port - described as the cruise ship capital of the world, with large-vessel traffic.
Unknown. Rockstar has published no count, and the widely quoted figures are community projections. Seven vehicles are named on the official site.
Some nameplates are familiar - Cheetah, Stanier, Dominator, Squalo, Enduro and Tulip have all appeared in earlier GTA games - but the GTA VI versions are new vehicles, and no list of returning models has been published.
Rockstar names one mod shop, Rideout Customs in Lake Leonida, and describes modifying interiors, rims and 'donk stylings'. It is listed as 'only open for business with the Ultimate Edition', and Rockstar has not described modification for Standard Edition players.
Yes. Jet skis are among the activities shown in the August 27 Extended Look.
Rockstar has not named an aircraft. A seaplane appears over the Keys and helicopters appear in official screenshots, but whether either is player-flyable has not been stated.
