Every Business Rockstar Has Named in GTA 6

A salon, a tattoo parlour, a streetwear store, a mod shop and One-Eyed Willie's - five businesses Rockstar lists as 'only open for business with the Ultimate Edition' - plus two garages with weapon lockers and somewhere to stash stolen goods.

Updated October 20, 2026: Corrected the business list against Rockstar's VI site: the five Ultimate Edition businesses are Rideout Customs, Sara's Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang Tattoo and One-Eyed Willie's; the Paradise Garage comes with a vehicle rather than from that list. Added the Shore Court garage from the Vintage Vice City Pack and the venues shown in the August 27 Extended Look.

Much of the most detailed information Rockstar has published about GTA VI's world comes not from a trailer but from the bonus content lists on its VI site. The Ultimate Edition list names five businesses under the heading "Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition", and two garages appear elsewhere in the bonus material: the Paradise Garage, attached to an Ultimate Edition vehicle, and the Shore Court garage in the Vintage Vice City Pack.

One-Eyed Willie'sNot statedNot described in anything we can verify. Rockstar's press images filed under the name show a green Canis off-roader on axle stands in a workshop, which points to a garage - an inference from file names, not a statement

All five businesses sit under the line 'Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.' Rockstar has not clarified whether that means the venue is gated or only its exclusive stock. It is a genuinely ambiguous sentence with very different implications either way.

Why that ambiguity matters

There is a large difference between "Ultimate Edition owners get exclusive items at this shop" and "this shop does not exist unless you paid $99.99". Rockstar's phrasing supports the second reading more naturally than the first, which would be a significant thing to establish quietly in a product description.

We are flagging this rather than resolving it, because it is not resolvable from what has been published. It is one of the more consequential unanswered questions about the editions, and it deserves a direct answer before launch.

Personal customisation is clearly a system

Between the salon and the tattoo parlour, Rockstar has described appearance customisation in more written detail than almost any other system in GTA VI.

  • Hair and hairstyles for both protagonists.
  • Facial hair specifically for Jason.
  • Makeup and nails specifically for Lucia.
  • Over 50 tattoos, applicable to both characters.
  • Clothing, from at least one named store.

The FAILE detail is a genuine curiosity: Rockstar commissioned a real Brooklyn art collective to design the tattoo flash. That is the kind of production expenditure a studio only makes for a system players will spend time in.

The garages are the interesting part

Most of the named businesses are cosmetic. The two garages are not: between them they name systems that appear nowhere else in Rockstar's written material.

Feature namedWhat it impliesWhere
Vehicle storageOwned vehicles persist somewhereParadise Garage; Shore Court is a personal garage
A weapon lockerWeapon storage separate from carried loadoutBoth garages
Somewhere to keep stolen goodsA stolen-goods economy with a conversion stepBoth garages; the Paradise Garage copy says the goods are 'to be fenced'

Fencing is the standout. It implies stealing things that are not money, holding them, and converting them somewhere specific - a loop GTA has flirted with before and never built around. Because the Shore Court garage comes with every pre-order and every purchase before November 20, the stash is not an Ultimate-only idea. How either garage works has not been described.

What about property ownership?

No buying system has been announced. The word Rockstar uses for where Jason lives is "safehouse", and the arrangement is explicitly that the property belongs to Brian Heder rather than to Jason. The two garages above are given to you as bonus content; neither is described as something you buy in the game.

There is no announced property-buying system, no business-ownership system, and no confirmation that any of the named businesses can be owned rather than visited. Everything you have read about running businesses in GTA 6 is extrapolated from GTA Online.

What is still unknown

  • Whether the five Ultimate Edition businesses exist for Standard Edition players.
  • What One-Eyed Willie's actually is.
  • Whether any business can be owned rather than used.
  • How many other shops and venues can be entered - the Extended Look shows gas stations, clubs, a strip club and a gym, but no list has been published.
  • How the fencing system works, or what can be fenced.
  • Whether players who buy on or after November 20 without the Ultimate Edition get any garage with a weapon locker.
  • Whether customisation persists between protagonists or is per-character.

The neighbourhoods these businesses locate

Three of the five businesses and both garages come with a location, and those locations are among the few Leonida neighbourhoods Rockstar has named anywhere.

Business or garageNeighbourhoodWhat else is known about that area
Stock 305StockyardDescribed as having a 'premier destination for elevated streetwear'

Paradise GarageWatson BayNothing else published
Shore Court garageNear Ocean BeachOcean Beach is part of Rockstar's Vice City overview
Sara's Unisex SalonNot stated-
One-Eyed Willie'sNot stated-

Stockyard getting two named businesses makes it the most densely described neighbourhood outside the Vice City overview, which listed Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, the Tisha-Wocka flea market and VC Port without attaching a business to any of them.

FAILE, and what a real commission implies

Rockstar states that Electric Fang Tattoo's 50-plus designs were created by FAILE, a real Brooklyn art collective. Commissioning outside artists for in-game assets is not something studios do casually.

  • It costs money and takes contract negotiation, which means someone budgeted for it.
  • Fifty-plus distinct designs is a large deliverable for a cosmetic system.
  • Tattoos are permanent within a save, so players examine them more closely than most cosmetics.
  • Rockstar named the collective publicly, which is a credit rather than a quiet asset purchase.

A studio does not commission fifty pieces of art from a named collective for a system players use once. It is the strongest indirect evidence available that appearance customisation is a substantial part of GTA VI.

What is missing from the business list

The named businesses cover appearance, vehicles and storage, and the Extended Look adds venues seen in use. Several categories familiar from GTA V are still absent from everything Rockstar has named.

CategoryPresent in GTA VNamed or shown for GTA VI
Gun shopAmmu-NationNot named
Convenience store or gas stationYes, robbableGas-station robberies shown in the Extended Look; no chain named

The absence of a named gun shop is the most notable gap. Ammu-Nation was a fixture of GTA V, and Rockstar has not mentioned it or any equivalent for Leonida.

Which businesses are Ultimate Edition only?

Rockstar lists five under 'Only open for business with the Ultimate Edition': Rideout Customs, Sara's Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang Tattoo and One-Eyed Willie's.

Can you get a haircut in GTA 6?

Yes. Rockstar names Sara's Unisex Salon and describes hairstyles, facial hair, makeup and nails.

Are tattoos in GTA 6?

Yes. Electric Fang Tattoo is described as offering over 50 signature tattoos for both protagonists, designed by the artist collective FAILE.

Are these shops Ultimate Edition only?

Rockstar's wording says 'only open for business with the Ultimate Edition', which is ambiguous between the venue being gated and only its exclusive stock being gated. The studio has not clarified.

Can you buy property in GTA 6?

No buying system has been announced. Jason's safehouse is described as belonging to Brian Heder, and the Shore Court garage comes free with pre-orders and purchases before November 20.

What is fencing in this context?

Rockstar describes the Paradise Garage as having a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced, and the Shore Court garage as having a stash for stolen goods. No further detail has been published.
